General

  • A typical session lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, tailored to your child's needs.

  • Session frequency depends on your child's needs and our team will work with you to find the best schedule.

  • Physical Therapy: assesses motor skills, strength, and functional abilities.

    Occupational Therapy: evaluates motor skills, sensory processing, fine motor coordination, and daily activities.

    Speech Therapy: assesses articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatic skills, hearing, and communication functionality.

    Dyslexia Testing: four assessments to evaluate reading and language skills, including handwriting. This requires 2 visits to complete.

    Each evaluation will take 1-2 hours (with the exception of dyslexia testing). After the evaluation is conducted, the therapist will discuss their findings and suggested treatment plan with you, the parent.

  • Yes, we provide home exercises and activities to reinforce progress and support development.

  • The timeline varies based on needs and complexity. Some see improvements in weeks, while others may take longer.

  • We serve toddlers through adolescence (2-18 years old).

  • We do not accept insurance, but we do provide a detailed superbill that you can submit to insurance for reimbursement.

    We only accept cash, checks, or credit cards. You can submit your receipt to your HSA/FSA for reimbursement. Access forms here.

Physical Therapy

  • It uses specialized exercises to enhance muscle strength, coordination, and mobility, achieving developmental milestones.

Occupational Therapy

  • Occupational therapy focuses on daily skills like self-care, play, and school tasks, improving fine motor skills and sensory processing. We can also address oral feeding difficulties through OT.

Speech Language Therapy

  • Speech therapy addresses articulation, language delays, fluency issues, and communication difficulties.

  • Our speech-language pathologists use exercises to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and expressive communication skills.

  • Yes, it effectively addresses stuttering and language delays, promoting effective communication and confidence.

Dyslexia

  • If you notice persistent difficulties in reading, writing, and spelling, dyslexia testing may be beneficial.

  • The process includes a comprehensive evaluation throughout 2 visits that evaluate reading and language skills.

  • It identifies areas of difficulty, allowing targeted strategies and accommodations for academic success.

  • Yes, we provide evidence-based interventions, specialized tutoring, and accommodations for academic progress. We also give you tools/information to take into your child’s school to help advocate for your child’s day-to-day education.

Tutoring

  • Our tutoring covers reading and writing. We use the All About® Learning Press program. This method uses science-/brain-based approaches to teaching children how to read and write.
